Governor Receives Report on Judicial Reform
Gov. Joe Manchin on Sunday received the final report from the Independent Commission on Judicial Reform. The governor said he would be reviewing the report to determine what issues may need to be brought before the Legislature.

Governor Orders U.S. and State Flags Lowered in Memory of West Virginia Soldier
Gov. Joe Manchin has ordered all U.S. and state flags displayed at state facilities lowered to half-staff the entire day of Monday, Nov. 16, in commemoration of the distinguished life and service of Army Specialist Julian Lee Guthrie Berisford.

Governor Orders Flags Lowered in Honor of Victims of Fort Hood Tragedy
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – In conjunction with presidential proclamation lowering U.S. flags, Gov. Joe Manchin has ordered all state flags to be lowered to half-staff immediately in honor of the victims of the tragedy at Fort Hood, Texas.
