CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Gov. Joe Manchin and Attorney General Darrell McGraw today announced West Virginia's final ENERGY STAR Sales Tax Holiday will start today Sept. 1, 2010, and run through Nov. 30, 2010.

Governor to Present Greenbrier Resort Owner With Distinguished West Virginian Award
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Gov. Joe Manchin will honor Greenbrier Resort owner Jim Justice by presenting him with a Distinguished West Virginian Award during this week’s Greenbrier Classic activities. This is one of the most prestigious awards a governor can bestow upon a West Virginian and will recognize Justice’s many accomplishments and unwavering commitment to the great people and state of West Virginia.

Governor Manchin Announces a 3.5% Interest Rate by the West Virginia Housing Development Fund
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Gov. Joe Manchin has announced that the West Virginia Housing Development Fund is offering a new mortgage program for West Virginia families that includes a 30-year fixed rate loan at approximately 3.5 percent. The program also includes a zero percent down payment and closing cost assistance loans.
