Civil Rights Day at the Charleston Job Corps
February 23, 2006 - Governor Joe Manchin and First Lady Gayle Manchin participate in the fourth annual Civil Rights Day at the Charleston Job Corps. This year, 13 remarkable individuals were acknowledged for their steadfast leadership toward improving the lives of others. The honorees include: Carol Glasser, Kent S. Hall, Dr. Della Brown Taylor Hardman, Dr. Ken Hechler, Mildred Ruth T. Holt, Mentola Joyce Jackson, Reverend Patricia Ann Jarvis, Reverend Dr. David A. Kates, Attorney J. Franklin Long, Edward Peeks, the Honorable Larry V. Starcher, Clarence Wanzer and Anna McCright.
